Sorry folks but since the pups are going to take up a lot of my time over the next few weeks, you can be sure to see pup pix. Animals don't complain. They are driven by instinct. My girl runs outside long enuf to do her business and then comes tearing back to her pups. I put her food intermitently in the pool with her bc she won't get out to eat. She tolerates me handling them, but nobody else. All are well. I'm sleepy.

My doggie Maxi gave birth to 6 healthy purebred jack russells today. Only one boy out of the whole batch! Anyway, I'm thrilled. Ask me what did I do with my day today and I'll answer that I was up to my elbows in dog slime and fluids. I'll spare you. My youngest hugged me towards the end of the afternoon and said, "mom, you smell nasty". And I did. 2 loads of laundry, a long shower and a change of clothes and fresh linens did a world of good. She's such a good momma. I'm smiling at the fact that we have pups in the house again. Will update on this site in case anyone is interested.

my friend had a surprise birthday party for her daughter who turned 14.
it was a great party and the kids had a lot of fun.
today some of the kids are going to the beach.
I'm packing up to go to a wedding this weekend.
